Located in Diagon Alley, Flourish and Blotts is a bookseller with shelves stacked to the ceiling full of every type of book you can imagine. Any young Hogwarts student strolling Diagon Alley looking for a copy of A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration or A History of Magic knows to head straight to Flourish and Blotts.
It has enormous books the size of paving stones, tiny books the size of postage stamps, books filled with nothing but mysterious symbols, and books filled with nothing at all. Just like Muggles get packages delivered to their door, Flourish and Blotts has its own home delivery system – but their books are delivered by owl!
