Quidditch Through the Ages is a popular book written by Kennilworthy Whisp. It is a detailed guide to the sport of Quidditch and includes everything you’d ever need to know about it, including all 700 ways to commit a foul! It also contains a detailed history of the game, from its historical origins (a version of Quidditch used to be called Quodpot!) to the modern sport loved by witches and wizards around the world. Unsurprisingly, the book is very popular with Hogwarts students. Harry is a particularly big fan, finding it very helpful to prepare for his first Quidditch match – even if it is confiscated by Professor Snape!
