Herbology is the study of magical plants, and usually takes place in the Hogwarts greenhouses. The various magical herbs and fungi that are studied in Herbology have all sorts of uses - such as potions ingredients. Although unlike Muggle plants, some of the magical kind can sometimes be dangerous - and dragon hide gloves are encouraged!
